Given the recent flood of media coverage around online privacy, we understand that consumers have questions and concerns regarding the use of their personal information. With this in mind, we created the Consumer Privacy Center to keep you apprised of important developments and to help you make informed decisions about how to manage your online profile.

Lotame adheres to strict rules of industry self regulation in collecting, categorizing and creating audience profiles and delivering targeted advertising. The benefits of these targeted ads go beyond relevant messaging about products and services in which you might be interested — they also help keep content on the web free. We understand, however, that despite numerous upsides, some consumers may still have issues with targeted advertising. That’s why we provide the following options:

1) The Lotame Opt Out Manager lets you review and edit key information in your anonymous profile, giving you control over what ads you see. If you choose, you can also opt out of targeted advertising entirely.

2) We provide Opt Out Tools to maintain your preferences, even when you clear your browser cookies.

3) Our Privacy Policy details the information we collect and why we collect it.

In addition to these measures, Lotame has partnered with every major industry watchdog, including Evidon to deliver In-Ad Notices; IAB and NAI to meet and exceed privacy compliance standards, and the Digital Advertising Alliance’s educational site, aboutads.info.
